Captain Brandon Garzon-Acosta didn't draft for balance—he drafted for firepower.
After selecting perennial MVP finalist Tristan Swanson first overall, Brandon landed reigning Finals MVP Tyler Tremblett with his keeper pick at the end of Round 2, arguably the best value selection in the draft. He then doubled down by selecting Jack Girden in Round 3, giving Precision three of the league's most dangerous offensive weapons.
On paper, no team can match Precision's scoring ability. The bigger question is whether three high-volume scorers can sacrifice individual numbers for team success. If Brandon can establish clear roles and keep the ball moving, Precision has the talent to compete for a championship.
Elite Offensive Firepower
Tristan, Tyler, and Jack can all create their own shot and have proven they can take over games. Precision has the highest offensive ceiling in the BUBL and should be one of the league's most entertaining teams to watch.
Size and Interior Defense
Precision is the smallest team in the league. Brandon will once again be asked to defend bigger forwards and centers, while Lukasz Dysko is the team's only true post presence. Against larger, more physical teams, protecting the paint and controlling the glass could become a challenge.
Tyler Tremblett (Round 2 – Keeper)
Getting the reigning Finals MVP, two-time Showman Award winner, and an All-Defensive Team selection at the bottom of the second round is tremendous value. Many teams would have happily selected Tyler in the first round.
MJ Hamilton (Round 7)
MJ is one of the biggest wild cards in the draft. His athleticism gives Precision something they otherwise lack on the wing, and if he embraces an energy role—running the floor, defending, cutting without the ball, and attacking in transition—he has a legitimate chance to become one of the steals of the entire draft.
Brandon Garzon-Acosta
The captain may be the key to unlocking Precision's full potential. His willingness to defend bigger players, move the ball, and embrace a low-usage role could be what allows the team's stars to thrive together. If Brandon can keep everyone bought into the system, Precision will be incredibly difficult to beat.
There's no denying the talent on this roster. Precision may have assembled the league's most explosive offense, but they'll need to overcome concerns about size, rebounding, and shot distribution to reach their full potential. If everything clicks, they're a legitimate championship contender. If it doesn't, they'll be one of the most fascinating teams to watch all season.
